Why We Built This Site
Texas provides public access through several rules and custodians, but the first task is finding who holds the item. The District Clerk keeps the 77th and 87th District Court files. The County Clerk keeps County Court criminal, civil, probate, and mental-health records. Justice and municipal clerks keep their own lower-court dockets. We organize official contacts, portals, request steps, and local case-routing facts around those real divisions.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket references: how criminal dockets and civil dockets are found and read in Freestone County
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to run a case search by party name or case number through the statewide portal
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site with no connection to a Texas court, clerk, or agency. Its limits are clear:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now
Only the clerk of court or the trial court that heard the case can issue an official or certified copy of a docket sheet or court record. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
Search Partners
Outside providers power search boxes on some pages and control their own results, prices, and policies. A paid signup may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not set a provider's charge, retain its search terms, or decide which records it returns.
